Job Description

We’re looking for a Mobile Projects Quantity Surveyor to work with our Ministry of Justice and Home Office contract team. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting projects, a Rewards and Benefits package, progressions opportunities and even more.

Location: Covering locations across the South of England

Contract: Full time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Responsibilities

As a Mobile Projects Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for attending live projects to evaluate progress, support tendering and capturing evidence of milestone completion.

Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting projects at tendering stages, along with tender review and analysis
  • Client facing duties to include regular calls and meeting attendance
  • Sign of at completion of works

Who are we looking for?

This role of Mobile Projects Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • Experience at Senior Quantity Surveyor level
  • Relevant Quantity Surveyor qualifications and NEC3 experience
  • Experience of working on or producing estimates from the NRM2 and have full confidence in the accuracy or estimates/tenders produced

Due to the nature of this contract, this role requires SC level clearance, which takes place during your employment and can take 1-6 months to complete. These checks are conducted by the Cabinet Office’s United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) agency who set out a pre-requisite criteria including holding a valid passport, and the requirement of having lived in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years prior to your application (gaps of more than 4 weeks abroad at any one time may have an adverse effect of acceptance of the application or completion of the checks).
