Qualifications
AA Degree in Early Childhood Education
BS Degree with PA Certification in PK-4 Instructional I Preferred
Bilingual Language abilities, English/Spanish, a plus
Responsibilities/DutiesTo plan and implement educational activities to includes managing the classroom and planning activities according to the curriculum that are developmentally appropriate. Evaluate and record children’s progress and communicate with parents on a regular basis. Provide and maintain an atmosphere in the classroom that promotes school readiness and developmentally appropriate practices.

Pay Rates, Effective June 2023AA: $21.84BS: $25.99/hr (No PA Cert); $27/.14 (PA Cert Level I ECE) to $28.50/hr (PA Cert Instructional II ECE)*Pre-K Counts Classrooms require a BS degree in ECE with Instructional I certification as the minimum educational qualificationAdditional pay for Advanced DegreeBilingual Abilities Preferred (Eng/Spanish) – 5% additional pay
