Warehouse Operative- Fresh Foods - Wolverhampton


£10.82 per hour . Monday to Friday, 7am until Job Finish.


We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy team at our BRC-accredited production and storage facility at Hilton Cross, Featherstone.

In return, you will receive an excellent employment package. These are permanent 40-hour-per-week positions and overtime is readily available. All PPE and equipment will be provided.


The purpose of this role is ensuring that general warehouse tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively

Key Accountabilities

  • Adherence to stock rotational procedures at all times
  • The accurate assembly / marking up of customer orders
  • Adherence to safe operating practices in accordance with food safety systems in order to prevent contamination / spoilage of product
  • Accurate completion/recording of all critical control points at all stages of the HACCP system
  • Control of unauthorised personnel within the department
  • Maintaining the highest level of general cleanliness in accordance with departmental cleaning schedules
  • Ensuring that all equipment, fixtures and fittings are maintained in good working order and are used in the approved manner.
  • Any other duties as requested by line management

    • Basic Education (Numeracy and Literacy)

    • Food Hygiene Certification
    • Previous experience within a similar role/environment
