An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy healthcare support worker to join the Occupational Therapy team in South Ayrshire. This post will work within Ayr Hospital across various wards.
You will work in partnership with colleagues, as part of the multi-disciplinary team and will manage a delegated caseload, using evidence based principles. Your role will involve promotion and education to relevant stakeholders. It is therefore essential that you possess effective communication skills, which will include presentation skills, written reporting skills and interpersonal skills. You will also be required to develop effective networks with colleagues across health, local authority and partner agencies.
You will have an understanding of the current agendas influencing services and be able to evidence continuous professional development.
Clinical and line management supervision will be provided and we are keen to support applicants to learn and develop skills within the role.
A HNC or equivalent is desirable.
A current driving licence and access to a car is essential.
