Avaliable Job Today We are on the lookout for an EXPERIENCED sign and print maker to join our small but friendly team based in Derby. This is an excellent role for someone who wishes to join an long standing growing local company.
We are looking for an experienced sign and print maker who is capable of designing and making a varied range of external and interior Signage ,Also car graphics and wraps .
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with an eye for detail. They must be able to work alone using their initiative, be flexible and a good team player in addition to being
organized and able to deal with clients confidently in house and on site.
They will be asked to use wide format printers and plotters
laser cutters , cnc routers and laminates as well as a array of hand tools
Previous experience would be preferred in the sign trade but not essential.
Software knowlodge of Coral , Illustrator and other softwares would be preffered but
again not essential .
- Ability to interpret briefs accurately.
- work under pressure to complete deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A Good communicator and able to be client facing.
- Enthusiastic with a can do, problem solving work ethic and attitude.
- Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring signs are well protected at all times
- Flexible and willing to work overtime as and when required.
- computer literate
- full driving license ideally
- have a creative flare and a eye for detail
- This is a great job for a creative visual person who loves design
Your working hours
Part time - full time
Salary - Hourly rate - Day Rate - Job Rate - TBC upon acceptance of job offer.
- This role is permanent after completion a 12-week probation period for the right candidate.
