We are a leading national Signs, designs and graphics company based in Bournemouth/Poole offering a wide range of bespoke signage to many of our blue-chip clients. Based at our Head Office in Poole, this is an amazing opportunity to join our unique design department with over 25 years’ experience. The Role:
Due to continued growth and investment, Think Signs are recruiting for a multi-skilled Signs & Graphic Designer with a keen eye and obvious talent. The role will predominantly include the design and preparation of artwork for print, digital, web, social media, and marketing. A successful candidate will thrive from working to a very high standard to execute the deadlines given ultimately delivering the finest quality service to our customers. The job role is Signs & Graphic specific however an ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of graphics design and will be joining a highly motivated, tight-knit team with big ambitions. This is an office-based role liaising with other departments including Sales & Marketing, Production and Print room. Technically skilled in Coral Draw, Adobe In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator to an excellent level. The role focuses primarily around graphic and digital design although for the right candidate there may be scope to develop your skills in other areas within the design department. We are looking for enthusiastic, and motivated individuals with a real passion for the industry that will go the extra mile to understand the need of each and every customer and deliver real value and exceptional service to their business. As a driven and self-motivated graphics designer, you will have excellent attention to detail and have demonstrable experience in the signage industry. You will be highly organised, a team player, and won’t be fazed by the idea of working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. With experience in vinyl and graphic installations, you will have the ability to problem solve and work to detailed drawings and visuals. Requirements:
- Demonstrate previous graphics design experience preferably in a signage role
- Excellent attention to detail and able to follow a given design brief, cope with pressure and deliver excellent work within the given deadlines
- Delivers high quality results within short timeframes and can work under pressure
- You must be able to work well in a team and have strong communication skills
- Basic knowledge of the printing process would be advantageous
- Developed knowledge of design for website and social media
- Able to work effectively within a team and independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Customer and quality orientated individual
- Self-motivated, organised and confident
- Previous Large format knowledge
- A full driving licence
Software:
- Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite are advantageous
- Have extensive knowledge on RIP software
- Proficient in IT including MS Office
- Windows OS (This role is Windows based and not Mac)
