Job Summary
As an English to Italian Translator Intern, your primary responsibility will be to assist in translating content for our brand. You will be tasked with translating texts, documents, and various materials from English to Italian, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the intended meaning.
Responsibilities
1. Translate written content from English to Italian, including marketing materials, website content, and other company documents.
2. Maintain consistency in the use of terminology and language style across all translations.
3. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
4. Collaborate with the content team to understand the context and requirements of the translation tasks.
5. Research industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate translations.
6. Assist in managing translation memory and glossaries to improve efficiency and consistency in translations.
7. Communicate any challenges or clarifications required during the translation process.
Qualifications
1. Proficiency in both English and Italian languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Translation, Linguistics, or a related field).
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality translations.
4. Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Passion for languages and a keen interest in translation.
