Tandoori chefJai MSK UK Limited, specializing in Indian cuisine, is seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a Tandoori Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic tandoori dishes, utilizing traditional cooking techniques and high-quality ingredients.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a wide range of tandoori dishes, including tandoori chicken, kebabs, naans, and other grilled specialties.Ensure the quality and consistency of food items, maintaining the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.Monitor and manage inventory levels of tandoori ingredients, ensuring their availability for daily operations.Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new tandoori recipes and menu items.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.Train and supervise junior kitchen staff members in tandoori cooking techniques.Requirements:Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.Expertise in marinating, skewering, and cooking tandoori dishes using a traditional clay oven (tandoor).In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, seasonings, and cooking techniques.Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong teamwork and communication abilities.How to Apply: If you are passionate about Indian cuisine and possess the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to join our team at Jai MSK UK Limited.
