• Be an integral part of the UK Tax team and partner with Central Tax teams to ensure the Group's overall global tax strategy and approach is confirmed and executed by exercising the governance function
• Management of the Corporation Tax cycle which is outsourced and oversee tax accounting and reporting obligations
• Provide technical tax and project management support on local and global projects together with process documentation evaluations
• Provide VAT advice and support on the optimum structuring of business transactions from both a domestic and international perspective.
• Assist Foreign Trade and GS teams (Controlling / Finance) to fulfil operational, reporting, compliance and documentation requirements.
• Set up tax risk tracking and management processes including preparations for the impact of new legislation and regulation
• Evaluate Tax incentives ( R&D, Patent Box etc) and other M&A opportunities to deliver synergies and efficiencies across the group
• Support Business units to achieve Senior Accounting Officer obligations and other reporting requirements
• Oversee tax compliance requirements and related structuring of operations for overseas ventures
• Assisting with implementation and management of a new transfer pricing operating model and documentation obligations
• Production and maintenance of intra-group contracts, and global TP documentation requirements

• Be a qualified ACA / ACCA and ideally be a CTA specialist with proven and recurring success in post qualification experience.
• Possess solid UK corporation tax experience and have strong awareness of UK and EU VAT
• Understand the demands and possess practical experience of working within a large international group is desirable.
• Have the ability to work under pressure, work well within a small team and have strong communication skills across all levels.
• A current driving licence is essential.
• As well as well as strong technical and professional competency, you will have excellent entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal skills required including:
• Results orientated; with a desire to exceed targets.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Able to build high quality and lasting relationships with all stakeholders.
• Use analytical skills in order to solve complex tasks and takes sound decisions (problem solving ability).
