Job Summary:
Reporting into the Manager, Warehouse & Goods Receiving, the Warehouse Administrator is responsible for executing all the administrative activities related to the transactional data, Good Receiving, Internal Requisition, Wastage, reporting shortages etc.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for Booking in (Good Receiving) in the ERP – Food and Equipment
- Responsible for Booking out (Internal Requisitions) in the ERP – Food and Equipment
- Recording of all stores wastage in the system
- Reporting shortages at the point of Booking in, communicating it to Purchasing
- Liaising with accounts payable for invoice queries
- Liaise with procurement, on data upkeep
- Updating the substitution in the system for approval – assisting shift Leader/Manager Warehouse
- Supporting the stock take activities:
- Printing – preparing for stock take – assigned by warehouse manager
- Physical stock count
- Data entry – Inventory updates
- Audit stock take – assigned by warehouse manager
- Updating customer portals for new orders / inventories
- Communicating the inventories to our customers on needed frequency
- Collating paperwork for custom’s, clearing, transfer request for stocks via external contractors
- Communication to third party handling agents
- Assist warehouse team in collating information for daily task i.e., printing of HTML paperwork for (ambient, Chiller & Freezer)
- Adheres to legal/ HACCP compliance across health and safety, food safety, security, and gateOPEX (in-house operational excellence program) and reports all incidents/accidents.
Qualifications:
Education:
- GCSE / High School or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Previous administrative experience ideally within a warehouse environment
- Previous experience with airline catering industry preferred but not essential
Other Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
- Attention to detail and able to work in a team
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Intermediate level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
