Job Description

Role Summary

Hawkwood is partnering with a global start-up to find a fully remote HR Manager to join on a 6 month FTC basis to help set up the HR function. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar HR/People role, within a global tech startup.

You will work alongside the Head of Talent to create and implement policies, procedures, and the entire employee lifecycle. This will also include management and execution of all HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

– Work closely with the Head of Talent, supporting them to deliver effective HR initiatives to create an enhanced employee experience globally.

– Create and implement the best global and remote onboarding experience possible.

– Singlehandedly manage all HR related admin such as contracts, lettering, background checks, rights to work, offer letters.

– Ensure that HR policies and procedures, employment law and best practice is adhered to and is compliant.

– Be the HR point of contact for the business, answering any queries and managing the HR inbox.

– Support the wider Talent Acquisition team with administrative duties – i.e. CV templates, avatar creation, CV formatting.

– Ad hoc project work i.e. Implementing an HRIS and ATS, reviewing the rewards and benefits, rolling out learning and development initiatives.

Skills and Experience required

– A minimum of 4 years’ experience working within HR/People function in an administrator or ideally advisory position.

– Experience of working within a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to change.

– Experience working as a contractor, or on a project basis.

– Strong written and oral communication skills.

– Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and influence others.

– Proactive and solutions-driven approach to work and the ability to take initiative.

– Experience of implementing HRIS systems would be an advantage.

Job Title: Global HR Manager, 6 Month FTC (with an option to extend to 12 months)

Salary: 45-50k (no bonus) depending on experience.
