Job Description
Tide House is an Ofsted registered residential family assessment centre based in Bideford. We provide evidence-based assessments for the courts and local authorities and are looking for a full time Office Administrator within our main office.
Our aim is to provide families with the opportunity to access advice, support and guidance with the purpose of improving their parenting skills and enabling them to better meet their child(ren)’s needs within the course of the assessment.
Candidates need to be flexible and adaptable, have effective inter-personal skills and an excellent work ethic. The elements of the role vary from day to day and include the following:
- Assisting the Manager and Director with operational and commercial administration
- Meeting and exceeding minimum regulatory standards and Key Performance Indicators
- Practical day-to-day IT and systems support for staff, for example setting up Teams meetings
- Managing day to day service finances – petty cash and general day to day expenditure
- Managing reception – answering the telephone, greeting visitors, diary management
- Undertaking health and safety and quality checks of the premises and families’ accommodation
- Managing the day-to-day staff rota – arranging planned and sickness absence cover
- Co-ordinating and organising maintenance of the office and flats as required
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in office or business administration. Previous responsibility for regulatory compliance will be an advantage. This is a very varied role and as such specific training can be provided for the right candidate
Salary range will be £11 - £12.50 per hour depending upon experience.
