Job Description
Fine Street Co is a street food catering company offering Street Food, pop up and private catering for various events. We have a fleet of trailers and vans that we use to serve events, usually within a 50 mile radius of Guildford. We are now looking for an events team assistant to help our business grow and ensure the smooth running of operations. We require an enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in the catering environment.
To fulfil this job role you must be able to do the following-
-Prepare for events, setting up trailers, arranging equipment, and ensuring a tidy and organised work space, and be responsible for the cleanliness of the trailer that you are working from.
-Be comfortable and confident helping to work in a varied team and delivering a great service at every event.
-Be hard working and driven and work well independently or as part of a team.
-Be adaptable to last minute changes
-Follow instruction and manage time effectively
-Ensure all legal requirements are adhered to
-Transport goods and trailers to various locations and have knowledge of Guildford and the surrounding areas.
-Be a good communicator with both clients and fellow employees, and have a positive attitude and commitment to the tasks you are being asked to complete.
-Organised and adaptable, and being able to work flexibly in line with business requirements.
-Be able to lift and move heavy loads.
-Having experience in food handling is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
-Full UK driving licence would be an advantage.
