Job Description
A couple are seeking to hire an experienced Estate Manager/Property Manager to oversee the smooth running of their Cotswolds property and a second property in London. The role will be Gloucestershire based with occasional days spent at their London residence. (Someone who lives within 30 minutes of Tetbury and can commute.)
This newly created role is to assist the Principal and their spouse to manage and supervise the maintenance, gardening and domestic teams in order to obtain maximum efficiency and productivity. As an Estate Manager/Property Manager, this individual will have a broad range of responsibilities ensuring overall day-to-day smooth running of all aspects of the estate, including maintenance, gardening, domestic duties and managing the in-house staff, as well as any external service providers required by the estate. This individual will report directly to the Principal and their spouse and will be the ‘first port of call’ for them as well as all relevant internal and external parties. Ideally this individual will be based in the Cotswolds within 30-40 minute from the Principal’s estate.
Duties include:
- Management of 12 staff. Some members of the team are new and will need training and guidance. You will also need to organise rotas, approve leave, organise payroll, and carry out reviews.
- Manage the day-to-day smooth running of the property.
- Manage and oversight of ad hoc
- Manage household budgets and pay invoices.
- Source and book contractors.
- Oversee the household schedule.
- Manage household stock and inventories.
