Jake & Nayns’ launched with the Naanster in 2017 With an ambition to shake up the convenience food market. Taste and product quality are at the heart of the brand. Two brothers one goal! Inspired by eating their mum’s amazing food, Jake & Nayns’ created a niche range of delicious handheld streetfood snacks – drawing on their own experience of developing restaurant quality dishes over many years before their pioneering launches of naansters then burrito’s.
Jake & Nayns’ now has added samosas and fresh flavours to the naanster and burrito ranges. They are the ultimate convenience food, that can be eaten hot or cold, on the go or as a meal.
Over the last 4 years, we have grown our business, with the key focus on becoming one of the largest food brands in our category. Our focus is to drive trial, awareness and distribution points so more people can enjoy our delicious food, anywhere, anytime. Our customers include Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Coop and many wholesalers servicing the convenience channel.
Our head office is in Leicester, and we are a hardworking and curious team, on a great adventure to enable more people to eat Jake & Nayns’. We’re interested in recruiting a couple of new members who get things done, are curious about people and food, can deliver to a high standard, are commercially savvy and want to make a difference in a startup.

The Opportunity:
Reporting into our Marketing Manager, we’re looking for an organised and high energy Product Sampling team member. An opportunity to be involved in a marketing strategy loaded with investment and growth plans for Jake & Nayns’. Happy to be in front of house consumers, gaining their feedback is critical. You will be working in a fast paced, ambitious and motivated team.
Brand Ambassador & Product Sampler:
- Drive our company van to sampling locations – Clean valid drivers license is a must
- Represent our brand and sample our products in various cities
- Ability to set up and dismantle our equipment/ stand for each sampling event (this includes heavy duty banners, gazebo, etc)
- Sample our products at locations across the UK, across our account base – discover where our tribe hangs out!
- Have high standards in food hygiene (training provided)
- Shout from the rooftops the benefits of Jake & Nayns’!
- Record feedback from each sampling event, this feedback is golden.
- Manage stock and equipment for all sampling events
- Source new sampling opportunities through our marketing and commercial functions, driving sales and focus of the Jake & Nayns’ range
- Maximise our engagement with our target audience - drive brand awareness for Jake & Nayns’

- Happy to work 4 days per week including every Saturday.
- Are confident in driving our Jake & Nayns’ van
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy weights (up to 15-20kgs) to set up and dismantle the sampling equipment.
- Suits you to have a temporary position until September
Package:
- £13 per hour + Travel and Food allowance. (Stay allowance will be included if needed)

- This is a temporary position for 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Immediate start
