A great opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join a leading analytics company in London
THE COMPANY
The company is one of the world's leading analytics companies and this role sits within their legal division. Their legal division is a leading global provider of legal, regulatory and business information - with the aim of helping customers to increase efficiency and improve decision making and outcomes.
And as part of the legal division, you will be joining their Intellectual Property team as a Lead Software Engineer. In this position, you will provide leadership and vision to junior developers working on software. You'll help to create high-level grade enrichments utilizing patent and similar content sets - and you'll have a large opportunity for impact within the business.
And you'll be working closely with peers and senior leaders you'll be helping the successful completion and delivery of software.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating and updating patent domain content features, manage resources and prioritise tasks
- Document, implement and establish requirements with tech personnel
- Writing and reviewing in-depth specifications for data aspects
- Implement and execute data management and analysis processes
- Fix complex data issues and collaborate with business teams
- Lead improvements and implement best-practices
- Produce strong, structured and issue-free code
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong knowledge of Intellectual Property
- Strong experience in PySpark
- Technical skillset including Python, Java and Databricks
- Scripting experience
- Leadership experience
