Our main product lines are Payin, Payout, and Wallets. To date, we have facilitated several billion US dollars in transactions annually, with most of them originating from the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union region. At Metaprise, we aim to revamp the global Cross-border Clearing Payment System to make it more widely used and efficient. We launched our multi-currency account in 2021, and it has already helped tens of thousands of businesses manage their money across the world. Job Overview: As the Global Compliance Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that [Company Name] adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies in the UK, US, EU, and APAC regions. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to establish and maintain a robust compliance program. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our expansion initiatives and safeguarding our reputation. What you'll be doing Compliance Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive global compliance strategy that aligns with [Company Name]'s objectives for expansion in the UK, US, EU, and APAC. Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on the evolving regulatory landscape in each region and ensure that the company is aware of any relevant changes in laws or regulations. Policies and Procedures: Review, update, and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Training and Education: Develop and deliver compliance training programs to ensure all employees are knowledgeable about compliance requirements in their respective regions. Third-Party Due Diligence: Establish and oversee a process for due diligence on third-party relationships to ensure they adhere to our compliance standards. Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies and senior management as required. Investigations and Resolution: Investigate compliance violations, breaches, or concerns and work on appropriate resolution, corrective actions, and preventative measures. Audit and Monitoring: Establish and maintain a robust compliance audit and monitoring program, ensuring that it is consistently applied across all regions. Ethics and Integrity: Promote a culture of ethics and integrity within the organization, fostering awareness and commitment to compliance standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in global compliance, with experience in the UK, US, EU, and APAC regions preferred. Strong knowledge of international compliance laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor) are a plus.
