Get to know the Role
This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing a financial dashboard that presents key financial and accounting metrics periodically, aiding in strategic decision-making and financial management.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Dive deep into our data to identify problems/root causes and opportunities to optimize our systems to benefit Users and Grab.
Comfortable working with and interpreting a wide range of accounting numbers and financial data.
Design user-friendly and informative dashboards that present data clearly and efficiently.
Ensure that the design is scalable and easily modifiable.
Link the dashboard to relevant databases and financial systems, ensuring real-time data updates.
Create periodic reports highlighting trends, anomalies, and areas of interest.
Using SQL and Python to deep dive into the data and answer complex business questions.
Build simulation tools combining python and google sheets to enable decision makers test different business scenarios.
Build dashboards using Tableau/Power BI/Python to monitor business performance & insights.
Discuss with stakeholders about business problems, then translate it into specific analytical steps and solution.
Write analytical reports in docs and slides to articulate the study findings and insights.
Present analysis findings to business stakeholders; facilitate business discussion driven by data & analytics.
The Must-Haves
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Computer Science/MIS/Industrial Engineering/Mathematics/other quantitative disciplines.
Proven experience in designing and automating financial dashboards.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting metrics.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and data visualization skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.
Work experience between 2-5 years with minimum of GPA 3.5.
SQL skills is mandatory, Phyton/R skills will be advantageous.
Proficiency in dashboard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
