Job Overview:

As a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will be responsible for supporting students with a wide range of needs and disabilities to achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with the SEN Department and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for students with special education needs, including those with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and mental health conditions.

Adapt and modify teaching materials and resources to meet the individual needs of each student.

Support students with personal care and hygiene, including toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Experience of working with students with special education needs, preferably in an educational setting.

Experience of working with students with physical disabilities and/or learning difficulties.

Understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and other professionals.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
