Grade & Salary – Grade 7. National banding - £49,592 - £58,769 per annum. Outer London -£51,494- £60,528 per annum. Inner London - £53,396 - £62,286 per annum.
New entrants to the Civil Service are expected to start on the minimum of the pay band.
The internal roles rules apply to existing Civil Servants, i.e. level transfers move on current salary or the pay range minimum, transfers on promotion move to new pay range minimum or receive 10% increase. Either case is determined by whichever is the highest.

Introduction
We are looking for Data Quality Strategy Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the UKHSA Data Quality Strategy. The role requires the ability to engage with colleagues in UKHSA as well as our various stakeholders across government. As the Data Quality Strategy Lead, you should be a strategic thinker and have experience in developing and delivering on organisation strategies. As a lead you will be interacting with data practitioners and experts, as well as demonstrate high levels of data literacy.
The Data Quality Strategy will enable UKHSA to make significant strides towards meeting our strategic goals by providing accurate, reliable, and actionable data for health security decision making. The role will act as a cross-functional data quality champion, driving a culture for UKHSA to fully leverage data in compliance with Data Quality Strategy. The Data Quality Strategy Analyst will raise standards in data management through technology, governance, process, and compliance efforts.

Job Overview
You will join the Data Quality Strategy team within Engineering and Enablement division. Reporting to Head of Data Quality Strategy, you will lead policy advice and support relationships with stakeholders on data quality strategy implementation. You will work with the team to develop a baseline for UKHSA data quality strategy maturity and coordinate processes to understand performance over time alongside support change and business engagement.
You will build and maintain partnerships across the Group to ensure delivery of the Data Quality Strategy. Alongside provide briefing to DG/SLT on Data Quality Strategy policy and risk, including Parliamentary or FOI questions.
This role offers the opportunity to help shape the direction of data quality strategy in UKHSA and engage with people in a wide range of roles across the organisation, including with data owners, data users and data policy teams.
