Job Description
We are currently looking for a warehouse operative / picker & packer to join our ever-growing team within the commercial vehicle industry. The role on offer is a permanent role and offers some flexibility with working hours. (Minimum 25 hours per week - maximum 37.5 hours on offer). There will also be great progression opportunities for the right candidate.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties.· Accurately counting goods inwards and storing them away in correct stock locations.· Ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.· Ensuring the correct labelling of orders for despatch via third party couriers.· Carrying out stock checks when neccessary.· Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse.· All other general warehousing duties.The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have an eye for detail. At times you will be expected to work independently, so you will need to be proactive and self-motivated. Any prior experience of working within a warehouse environment or the commercial vehicle / Motor parts industry will be highly beneficial to your application, however, is not essential.
