Welcome

We are recruiting for another Duty Practitioner to join our busy team.

Our work is all about supporting individuals who have experienced, or are experiencing domestic abuse. We understand the power that simply believing, and offering a non-judgmental, trauma-informed response, can have. We all work together in the shared belief that every single person has the right to live their life free from domestic abuse and our practitioners work tirelessly to support and advocate for our clients to help them achieve this.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is committed to helping survivors break the cycle of domestic abuse and support their recovery. This role is a key part of our service, providing that all important first contact with new clients and referrers, online, via the telephone and webchat.

Purpose of the role

To be a key part of the community outreach teams by providing the first contact with all new clients both online and via the telephone, and responding to live webchat enquiries via the website.

To provide a high-quality telephone frontline service, processing new referrals with warmth and compassion and providing expert advice to professionals both online and via the telephone.

To provide emotional and practical support, processing new referrals, carrying out risk assessments and safety planning ensuring clients and professionals receive effective, timely advice before allocating their case for ongoing support.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: £24,382.00-£27,282.00 per year
