NHS Professionals has an exciting role for a Compliance and Vetting Co – Ordinator to join our expanding team whose main aim is to support our Bank Members through their compliance journey as seamless as possible and to support our internal colleagues to develop their understanding further to improve the bank members journey ensuring our processes, legislation requirements and service standards are always met.
About The Role
The priority of this role is to ensure your assigned Bank Members are supported to complete their compliance within the agreed time frame. This will include checking several elements including Occupational Health, DBS and mandatory training and dealing with external teams, whilst supporting the internal team to learn and understand more about compliance.
Working to ensure we are working to internal and legislative policies and processes when onboarding bank members from the initial recruitment stage as well as adhering to in life management processes and delivering customer service excellence at all times, ensuring the bank member are at the heart of every decision, striving for first contact resolution for all interactions and quickly identifying and escalating any issues which could impact the smooth delivery of our services.
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment compliance process on a day-to-day basis.
- Liaise and develop relationships with the customer and external agencies i.e., DBS, HCPC, training providers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal colleagues to support the efficient and complaint onboarding of their candidates.
- Attend and contribute to meetings both with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate lines of communication and working relationships are established and maintained with candidates and corporate staff.
- Adhering to NHS Professionals, external providers, and legal guidelines
- Conduct and always maintain a compliant and efficient service
- Identify areas in the service for improvement and potential risk
- Priorities workload to ensure a quick and compliant journey for our bank members
- Communicate with bank members, internal colleagues and external stakeholders in various means including inbound and outbound calls, email, and web chat
- Managing and responding to queries within the team inboxes in the agreed SLA
- Develop own skills and knowledge, ensuring full understanding of your role and the part in plays within the department and wider NHSP business
- Support and encourage consultants learning and understanding of the compliance process
- Be meticulous when handling data, compliance records and internal spreadsheets
- Dealing with customer complaints and escalating where appropriate.
The success of this role will result in the efficient deployment of bank members and positive feedback from our bank members as well as an efficient compliant workforce.
This is a hybrid working role with 3 office days in Hemel Hempstead and the rest working from home.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £21,300.00-£22,500.00 per year
