Successful applicants will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at Carew House, Bodmin on 17th November 2023. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of an outstanding service (as rated by the CQC). You will be responsible for providing quality interventions and support to our patients; this will be provided in 1:1 and group setting, aimed at supporting and empowering people. This will range from supporting with personal care tasks to moving on from hospital and accessing community facilities and much more in between. You must be able to communicate in a sensitive manner. You will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary Team. To Support the delivery of care and support needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse. To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality mental health care to the service users to promote recovery in a manner that maintains safety for all. We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability. We are a people organisation and people matter to us. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff. We work in people's homes, in community clinics and bases. Some staff work from one of our 13 community hospitals. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon.
