We are currently looking for Packers to join our Packing team on a temporary basis in Perth for approx. 12 weeks and this may lead to a fantastic permanent position within our business. As a packer you will be involved in the packing of products for our leading customers on a busy production line. Working Hours are Monday to Friday 0600 - job finish, working approx. 45 hours per week. To ensure that all product is packed to meet customer/company specifications, whilst also maximizing yield and minimizing waste. To ensure all tasks performed are as per training given and safe working procedures To work to agreed training plan, bringing any skill shortfalls/difficulties to the attention of the Packing Supervisor. Ensure understanding of expected standards and targets before commencing any task. To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to H&S and Food Safety. Any other duties as required Candidates will be ideally suited to a fast paced food manufacturing environment and able to work as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail Able to use own initiative Excellent communication skills Self-motivated Knowledge of hygiene and food safety Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but full training will be given for inexperienced people keen to learn the trade.
