Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is currently looking for an enthusiastic qualified Counsellor to join their IAPT services and deliver psychological therapies in Trafford. You will join a friendly and supportive team of Psychological Therapists/Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Cognitive Behaviour Therapists and IAPT Therapists delivering psychological assessments and psychological therapies in Central Manchester. This role requires a mixture of face to face and remote working. There is also a requirement to work 1 evening per week. The post available is for appropriately qualified Counsellor. The Counsellor will be part of an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) pathway located within Psychological Therapies Services providing clinical interventions to local populations. The post holder will work with clients who have a range of adjustment disorders,loss,anxiety and depression related problems collaboratively using evidence based intervention. The post holder will work with the diverse residents of Trafford, which includes people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary.
